The Cabragh Cup 2023

13th Jun 2023

Today we hosted the Cabragh Cup at Killeeshil GFC. 12 teams took part and there was a fantastic display of Gaelic throughout.

A huge thank you to all players, coaches and helpers who made Cabragh Cup 2023 a great success.  We were entertained with a great standard of football throughout the day and played in great spirit.

The competition had three sections.
Well done to the winners of the Cabragh Cup, in memory of Enda Hamill, which was won by Glencull after a very competitive final against St. Mary's Ballygawley.

Congratulations to St. Joseph's Galbally who ran out winners in a tight final against St. Patrick's, Roan to win the Cabragh Shield.

Finally, a massive well done to our own St. Mary's Cabragh for winning the Quinn's Corner Plate after defeating Edendork in the final.

Thank you to St. Mary's Killeeshil GAA for their continued support in developing gaelic in our school as well as allowing us to use their pitches for the tournament.

Sincere thanks to the community centre committee for the use of the hall and their facilities.

A special word of thanks to all those who helped organise food, the referees, the supporters, the staff from the schools as well as every player who helped make the Cabragh Cup a great success.

We look forward to hosting you all again in 2024!
