St Mary's Primary School, Cabragh

New School Crest

16th May 2018

Recently we began the process of refreshing our school crest. We consulted with our children, parents and staff to come up with a depiction of what represented St. Mary's Cabragh. I want to thank everyone who took time to make a suggestion and especially Mrs Eilish Russell, Mr Mark Rehill and Mrs Karina Avena who were very helpful and creative in their support for this project. The new crest will contain a book to signify the learning in the school, a outline of the miraculous medal to signify the school's connection with Our Lady and symbols to represent the music and sport which is a large part of the school. All of this contained in a gold Celtic circle. We have also included the date 1968 when the school was opened for the first time.
