Active Learning in Primary 3

The children in P3 have been working on their measuring skills in an engaging and meaningful way.  With measuring equipment at the ready the children took their learning outdoors. They used the trundle wheel to measure different parts of the playground. After reviewing different units of length the children estimated the length of the running track and then used the trundle wheel to take accurate measurements. The children measured the length as 236 metres long!
