Cabragh victory at Mid Ulster Finals
The girls and boys of St. Mary's Cabragh came home with their hands full of silverware after an unbelievable performance in the Mid-Ulster Cross Country finals. The course was a very tough 1600m and the competition was intense as all the winners from the regional heats lined up. The boys battled fiercely and Nathan Kelly came home in second place in a very closely fought race. Nathan was presented with his trophy and the boys were placed third in the overall boys competition.
The girls were simply outstanding and with Eva McKenna leading Cabragh home the girls took first place in the overall competition and were presented with the cup.
Well done to all the children who participated in a very enjoyable but demanding event.
