Today we welcomed BEAM Creative Network in partnership with Sue Wright to St. Mary's, to deliver the 'Who's at the door?' internet safety programme.
The interactive workshop was delivered to our Year 7 pupils and highlighted the dangers on the internet and taught them about how to stay safe online. The children learned about the dangers of cyberbullying and how to access help and support.
The workshop also focussed on the apps and games which the children are using. Through a variety of group activities and scenarios the children learned about the possible dangers which can be found online and how to deal with them if they do come across them.
