In St Mary's, we are very proud to have been nominated by Families First for two fabulous awards. Mrs Quinn, our principal, has been nominated for the Best Principal award and our school has been nominated as best primary school. We are so excited to have this honour bestowed upon us. We were inspired by a very clever P2 pupil who created his own poster to celebrate this achievement. Our school council then ran a competition before mid-term break for children who wished to create their own posters to celebrate. We had some wonderful offerings and the school council judged and found a winner in each class, who each received a prize. We appreciated everybody's beautiful posters and thank the parents who contributed also. As we explained to the children in school, it is their and their parents' participation, attitude and lovely manners that contribute so much to this being a wonderful school.
