Pupils of Key Stage 2 had a very important talk this week on Farm Safety. The children were made aware of all the dangers around a working farm and how to stay safe. The children learned about keeping safe when working with animals in particular new born animals, when slurry is being mixed, farm machinery including the PTO shaft and quads as well as the dangers of working at heights or objects falling. We thank HSE for their continued work with the school and appreciate the time taken to talk to our pupils.
