As part of their topic about Florence Nightingale, the Primary 3 pupils have made a special movie.
Sadly, this year due to COVID restrictions we were unable to invite our P3 parents into school to enjoy our Florence Nightingale Assembly. However, we hope you enjoy viewing the fantastic movie Primary 3 have made about the life of Florence Nightingale.
The pupils dressed up as nurses from the hospital, soldiers from the Crimean war, orphans, members of the Nightingale family, even Queen Victoria.
Sadly, the children were unable to sing the songs about Florence due to COVID regulations, but this did not hinder their enjoyment of listening to the songs and re-enacting Florence’s life story through drama and movement! The boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed their drama lessons with Mrs Poacher and their performance was outstanding!
We are so proud of all the P3 boys and girls and no doubt we will see many of the children take to the stage in the future!!
The children learnt a lot of important facts about this part of history through songs and drama. The performance was a great success and everybody really enjoyed it. Well done Primary 3!
