A fantastic scene awaited the six cyclists up at Malin Head as they came to the end of their epic journey from Mizen Head 4 days earlier. Two groups of cyclists had already arrived after making the 100 mile trek from Cabragh that morning. They were joined by staff, parents and well wishers who created an unforgettable atmosphere at Malin Head. Thank you to everyone who helped out or supported us in any way in the preparations over the last number of months and those who sponsored the jersey or helped out in any way. Thanks to the school staff who worked away behind the scenes to make everything possible. Thanks also to those who organised and supported the cycle from the school on Sunday. Special thanks goes to the six cyclists and their support man Conor Holland who took on a very physically demanding challenge and smiled the whole way through it. Great memories, laughs and friendships made.
