Primary 3 have been linking their literacy and numeracy lessons this week. The children have been learning about non-fiction genre and following and writing instructions. They were able to follow the rules and play snakes and ladders reinforcing their numbers to 100. Today the children were learning about left and right turns in numeracy. The children learned that Coding is a set of instructions through which you will guide the Probot or Beebot to do what you want it to do including turning left and right. This activity encouraged the children's creativity and developed their collaboration, communication and problem solving skills too.
