Primary 1 have been loving taking their learning outdoors the past few weeks. They have been working hard on their letter and number formation, exploring non-standard units to measure length and also enjoying some outdoor play. During play they have been busy digging in the sandpits, developing role play skills when playing on the pirate ship and they even opened up a car wash at the water tray! Impressive!
When using non standard units to measure the length of objects they really enjoyed using stones, cubes and blocks to measure different items. However, putting on the giant feet to measure the length of the playground definitely was their favourite!
