Primary 2 have been taking advantage of our beautiful Spring weather and have enjoyed taking their learning outdoors! We have particularly enjoyed our weight and length activities outdoors.
We arranged ourselves from shortest to tallest, measured the length of our outdoor play area using steps and weighed different objects in the sand and stone pit.
Primary 2 also received a letter from the Hungry Caterpillar and were tasked with finding, making and cooking these ingredients in the mud kitchen. Primary 2 children had so much fun finding different ingredients that the caterpillar would enjoy!
The Primary 2 children also went on a Spring Hunt to find all the different changes from Winter to Spring. We noticed that there are buds on the trees and some beautiful flowers are beginning to grow!
Primary 2 love their outdoor learning area!
