Today, Primary 1 decided to take their learning outdoors. A five station carousel was set up to practise their new sound, 'h', and to reinforce the sounds and key-words they already know. Using sticks, shells, rocks, branches and leaves the children were tasked to create the letter "h". They also had to use sand and sticks to write their new letter, as well as completing sounds and key-word hopscotches.
Outdoor learning sessions develop communication skills, problem solving ability, mental and physical health in a fun and creative way. Primary 1 had so much fun during their outdoor learning lesson! Enjoy the photos below.
