As part of our PDMU curriculum we were delighted to have Phil and Alice from "Love for Life" into school, to deliver the "Wonder" programme to Primary 3 and 4. We had a great session which was very exciting and interactive. The children took part in activities to encourage self-awareness and to build up their self-esteem. The workshop helped the children recognise different emotions and how these can be managed. The programme highlighted the importance of having respect for their amazing bodies and that of others.They learned strategies to stay healthy and safe and about how to be a good friend to others. The children learned about what a healthy friendship looks like, as well as how to deal with conflict in a constructive way. Through fun activities and stories, the children were able to celebrate being part of a diverse community made up of wonder-fully unique people!
