P3 Germs Experiment
Mrs Poacher's Primary 3 class have been learning about hand hygiene during their recent "Senses Topic".
This engaging mouldy bread science experiment was perfect for teaching the P3 children about the importance of washing their hands and general good hygiene. It can sometimes be difficult for children to understand why we need to wash our hands, especially when they do not appear to be dirty as germs are not visible to the human eye. This mouldy bread experiment shows children how germs can grow on dirty hands and how hand washing can help to keep us healthy. A great way for children to explore health and self-care and whilst becoming familiar with how experiments can work and help us to find out and understand the World Around Us.
