P3 had a wonderful trip to the Armagh Palace Stables to learn all about what it was like to live in Victorian times. We had an action packed day, learning about many different aspects of what life would have been like back then. First, we experienced what school would have been like back then, sitting in an old style classroom and writing on slates, using chalk. Not everyone was impressed with how strict the rules and punishments were back in those days! We also learned about the people who worked in palaces then and got to walk along the tunnel that servants used to get into the palace. It was an interesting and fun filled day, finishing off with some relaxing time in the play park.
