Primary 5 have just completed Chester’s Challenge!
Over the past 3 weeks, we have welcomed the team from the Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke Association, to St. Mary’s Cabragh. They have delivered 3 weeks of fun, interactive workshops promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Through the workshops, P5 explored:
- The importance of healthy eating
- The importance of breakfast
- How to pack a healthy lunch
- Physical activity guidelines
- Staying hydrated
- Movement flow exercises
- Screentime
- The importance of relaxation and sleep
