P5 Viking Trip to the Navan Centre

On Monday, the very lucky Primary 5 class had a wonderful visit to the Navan Centre as part of their World Around Us topic 'Raiders and Traders'.

The children had the opportunity to meet some fierce Norse warriors, learn about Viking raids and the weapons they used, and experience what life was like for a monk inside a scriptorium by writing in runes using quills.

This trip really brought our topic to life and everyone had a great day out!
