Congratulations to our P7 children who celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation this evening.
Thank you to Father Hannigan and to Bishop Michael Router for conferring the Sacrament of Confirmation upon our 25 Confirmandi this evening and making the celebration so special and meaningful for everyone.
We wish to express our gratitude to the parents and sponsors, who have supported our Confirmandi and taken time to help prepare the children to receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.
A special word of thanks to our wonderful P7 teacher Mr Dermot Morrow and Mrs Catherine McElvogue and Mrs Kathryn Tierney for their hard work and commitment to preparing the children so well.
We are indebted to our choir mistress Mrs Joanne Reihill, pianist Mr Plunkett McGartland, violinist Mrs Marie McCormack, Mrs Michelle McCann, Mrs Marina Mohan, musicians and choir members who enhanced the Ceremony with the beautiful singing and music.
Today was a wonderful day of happiness and celebration. We are so proud of all the P7 boys and girls who worked so hard and prepared so well for this special day.
The chapel was adorned with the children’s beautiful art work and special displays showcasing their wonderful work.
