Primary 7 were set the challenge to plan, design and create a capsule made out of recyclable materials which would safely allow their eggy astronauts to land safely back to Earth. The children first learned about how to complete the investigation fairly, each group was given similar amounts of the materials and the same amount of time. The capsules were then dropped from head height and gradually got higher. A grand total of 5 of our astronauts survived the challenge and the engineers were rewarded with an ice lolly each.
