Primary 7 Trip to Armagh Cathedral
On Friday, as part of their Religion programme, the Primary 7 class made a very special trip to Armagh Cathedral to learn about dioceses, the construction of the cathedral over a 60-year period and learn about the various saints, statues and graves around the building.
Following the morning mass (during which the P.7 choir sang beautifully at the end), the class got a tour around the cathedral from Lily who was very impressed with their knowledge. The children really enjoyed the trip and got the opportunity to light a candle for a deceased relative and also visit the gift shop to pick up a few holy mementos. Retired Cabragh principal Master Kelly and student teacher Mr McGleenan also joined Master Mc Anespie and Margaret for this memorable day.
