Dear Parent/Guardian,
Traditionally each year, we welcome parents and grandparents to St. Mary’s to help the children to make St. Brigid’s crosses. Sadly, this wasn't possible this year.
On Friday 29th January, the children joined me for our weekly Virtual Assembly. The children were set a 'Feel Good Friday' challenge and encouraged to go for a walk with their parents, find some rushes and together as a family make a St. Brigid’s cross.
Thank you to all the families and children who took part in this week’s challenge and for the wonderful photographs of the children enjoying being outdoors and gathering the rushes! We are delighted that so many families continued this important tradition at home. The children made some beautiful crosses and produced some beautiful St Brigid artwork. Well done to all!
