School council candidates in P4, spoke with confidence and purpose as they took to the floor last Friday in a bid to win their classmates vote. The children shared their messages of what they each could do for St Mary's as a school council member.
The children used their posters and slogans by way of persuasion and reinforcement. The competition was of an exceptionally high standard and there was much deliberation over each candidates 'promises'.
P4 children each cast their vote for 1 girl and 1 boy representative, using a ballot paper.
Votes were counted, numbers were recorded and the school council members from P4 for 2022 - 2023 were revealed.
