Student Council Assembly
Well done to our Student Council who led this morning’s school Assembly!
The theme of this morning’s Assembly was “Our School Values”.
Our School Council have been working on our school values and a symbol that represents our school. After lots of careful thought and consideration, the children have identified a set of values which are important to them and our school community. The Student Council have agreed on 5 Core Values.
- Happiness
- Equality
- Ambition
- Respect
- Teamwork
At this morning’s Assembly, the children discussed “What is a value?” and they considered the school values and what they thought they meant. They also spoke about how we might see these different values in our school.
By integrating these values into our teaching, interactions, and daily routines, we will create an environment where children not only succeed academically but also develop essential life skills.
The Student Council have invited the children in St Mary’s to design a poster that represents our 5 core values and St Mary’s Heart symbol.
We look forward to seeing all the wonderful designs!
Thank you to our Student Council for leading this morning’s Assembly!
