The Three Little Pigs

We have been reading and working on the story of the Three Little Pigs in P2.  We have discussed how to be a good friend like the little pigs were to each other.  We have used the story as a stimulus to create a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) lesson.  We built houses for the three little pigs out of different materials and discussed why each material was suitable for houses or not.  We actually had windows, doors, TVs, fireplaces and many other wonderful features in our houses.
We did a 'Huff Puff' painting and we did a PE lesson based on the story.  It is safe to say that P2 enjoyed this lovely story and all related lessons.
