WE ARE FINALISTS! - Families First Awards
We are absolutely thrilled and very proud to let our school community and Parish know that we are finalists in the Families First Education Awards!
We have been nominated for both the Best Principal Award and Best Primary School Award!
The Awards ceremony, hosted by Pete Snodden, will be held in the Titanic Exhibition Centre on Saturday 20th April 2024. The winners will be announced on the night.
Over the coming weeks, you will have the opportunity to add your lovely comments about your personal experiences of St Mary's Primary School and the wonderful contributions and new initiatives led by our school principal, Mrs Louise Quinn. We are really looking forward to reading your comments!
Families First will create a Finalists page on their social media platform. This is a page set up to show all the Finalists and what categories they are entered into.
When everyone goes to the page, they will be able to locate our school and principal by the school logo and picture of the school principal. You then click on the logo and the picture and it will bring up a short 'blurb' about the school/school principal and an online form for each nomination (Best Principal and Best School). You will have the opportunity to fill in each of the forms, as to why you believe St Mary's Primary School and our school principal should win the Awards. The comments get emailed to 'Families First' and a copy will automatically be emailed to the school.
As soon as the Finalists page goes live and 'Families First' send the school more details, we will be in touch with the link to complete the form. You can pass this link onto your friends and families.
This is a proud occasion for the parish of Killeeshil and an opportunity for our whole school community to celebrate this wonderful achievement.
With thanks and appreciation from all at St Mary's!
Kind regards,
Mrs Eilís Kelly & Mrs Marie Poacher (Senior Leadership Team)
