P1 have had lots of fun during their first full week of school. They have enjoyed learning how to write their names and have been developing their fine and gross motor skills. They also enjoyed their first ‘Relax Kids’ with our Relax Kids coach, Paula, and enjoyed learning strategies to make our worries and butterflies in our bellies go away.
We also enjoyed going on a walk around the school and visited our school bug hotel, polytunnel, sensory garden and fairy garden. Some of the fairies even followed us back to our classroom!
We have also enjoyed lots of outdoor play where we develop our social, turn taking, sharing and play skills.
