Winnie the Witch visits Primary 1!

Today, after hearing a loud bang, Primary 1 discovered that Winnie the Witch had visited their classroom leaving behind a large cauldron and a note. Winnie had heard that P1 had been learning all about the 'sssss' sound.

Winnie left the boys and girls a challenge in which they had to sort the objects into the correct cauldron into those that do start with the 'sssss' sound and those that do not start with the 'sssss' sound.

Once sorted, the children had to use a spoon to mix the spooky 'sssss' objects together saying the magic word 'ABRACADABRA'.

They placed the cauldron into Miss Cush's store and when they returned after lunch they discovered that Winnie had turned the objects into a special 'ssss' treat- SWEETS!

This went down a treat in the Primary 1 room. Well done, Primary 1!
