Mrs Poacher, our Literacy Coordinator organised a super competition on the run up to World Book Day. All the children in St Mary's were given a paper plate on which to design and show us their favourite book characters. We had fabulous fun looking at all the fantastic art. The children in St Mary's are certainly creative!
The school council judged the winner in each class and the winners all received a book as a prize. Thank you and well done to everyone who contributed their wonderful creations. Hopefully they will inspire other children to find out a little more about each character.
