Today we celebrated World Book Day – with the message for all the children ‘you are a reader‘!
We took part in lots of fun ways to promote reading for pleasure on World Book Day, and all-year round. The children enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book character and took their favourite book into school. The staff also enjoyed joining in all the fun! There was great excitement in St. Mary's today!
Mrs Poacher also organised a raffle in each class. A lucky boy and girl in each class won a fabulous book to take home! Thank you Mrs Poacher!
