Key Stage 2 Celebrate World Maths Day!
On Wednesday, we took part in World Maths Day! World Maths Day is a Worldwide celebration and provides children with an opportunity to engage in maths activities in a fun and exciting way.
Key Stage Two:
The Key Stage Two children joined forces for a series of maths games and challenges. Some of the activities included: jumbo battleships, cone flip race, the longest race in the world, maths scavenger hunt, cryptic code breaking, team bonding challenges and riddles.
The children also competed in live Mathletics games against other schools in countries around the world.
Throughout the day, the children were given riddles and problems to solve to keep the brain active. Some of the classes even made their own maths games and wrote the instructions for their classmates to play.
All in all, we had a fabulous day. #WeLoveMaths!
